Leverage the power of the iPhone with posts on Facebook to help reunite lost pets with their owners!

Several pages exist on Facebook containing posts of lost and found pets. To get started, please find a page which caters in or near your area. A few example pages are "Lost and Found Pets of Madison County, Illinois" and "Colorado Springs Lost Pet Alert".

Next, use BizziPet to tag each post as "Lost" or "Found". Optionally, go further and tag each post in the following additional categories:

• Type: Dog or Cat
• Sex: M or F
• Color: (various colors to choose from)
• Breed: (various breeds to choose from)

When you tag a post in one or more of the various categories listed above, your tags are entered into a shared database to help all BizziPet users search for pets using the BizziPet app.

BizziPet helps you reunite lost pets with their owners by searching a database of posts tagged as "Lost" with the posts that are tagged as "Found". When you identify a "Lost" post which looks similar to a "Found" post, the next step is to suggest a match. When you suggest a match, BizziPet will post the suggestion as a comment to both the Lost and Found Facebook post, in hopes the authors of each post will see your suggestion and decide if your match is a reality.

Tag posts as "Lost", "Found" or "Reunited":
Lost: applies when posts indicate a pet has been lost. A pet owner loses a pet. Anyone using BizziPet can tag the post as lost.
Found: applies when posts indicate a pet has been found. Anyone can find a pet at anytime and anywhere. Anyone using BizziPet can tag the post as found.
Reunited: applies when posts indicate the pet has been reunited with the owner or the owner has been found. Anyone using BizziPet can tag the post as Reunited.

Tag posts as lost or found, the type of pet (dog/cat), sex (m/f), color and breed.

Post suggested matches to the original authors of lost/found posts.

Post lost/found pets to Facebook with an optional map of your location. When you post a lost/found pet with your location, other BizziPet users can see how far away you are from them. All Facebook pages you are following will receive the post at the same time.

Follow up to 3 Facebook pages at once.

Heroes. Everyone using the BizziPet app is a hero because they are dedicated to reuniting lost pets with their owners. Each time you tag a post, you will receive points. The users with the highest points will be displayed on the HEROES tab.
